The Fane Foot Orthotics Clinic was set up specifically to tackle the need to relieve pain caused and associated with imbalance of the body posture and to supply quality prescription foot orthoses/shoe inserts. It is our belief that as a medical device an orthotic can only be a prescription product not something off the shelf that fits all.

Two and a half times your body weight goes through our feet, nine and a half thousand times (or more) a day, absorbing an equivalent accumulative force of around 600 metric tonnes of pressure. With stress forces being transmitted up the leg at a speed of 200mph, coupled with walking and running on hard surfaces for which our bodies are not designed, it's not surprising that our body goes 'OUT OF BALANCE'. This causes us to suffer many of the problems the Fane Foot Orthotics Clinic treat successfully everyday.

We specialise in orthotics related to childhood disorders, orthotics for sports men and women, amateur to professional, as well as the general population.

Conditions we successfully treat on a daily basis include heel pain, ball of foot pain, knee and achilles pain, neck and back pain and discomfort, soft tissue injuries and hip pain.

Amongst conditions we treat in children are growing pains, knee pain, flat feet, knock knees and bow-legs, in-toeing and out-toeing.

Our orthotics will help to support and comfort your feet, reposition your feet and retime your gait cycle and balance you skeleton, taking away the pain and discomfort associated with faulty posture and foot imbalance.
